The Client 

Longsands Fish Kitchen is a fish and chip restaurant and takeaway in the beautiful coastal town of Tynemouth. Situated near the North Sea, the seaside restaurant welcomes thousands of visitors each year.

The Overview and Objectives

As a North Tyneside based business, Longsands Fish Kitchen knew of our reputation for producing phenomenal food photography. So they contacted us. Originally, they commissioned our team to provide imagery to use on their website, social media channels, and menus. 

Our aim with this project was to produce first-class food imagery that would elevate the restaurant above the competition in the Tynemouth area. And to craft consistent imagery that would achieve this goal across multiple formats. 

The Solution and The Outcomes

We’re proud to say that we have now developed a long-standing partnership with Longsands Fish Kitchen. After delivering incredible results on our initial project, our team has provided high-quality food imagery to the restaurant for several years. In that time, our photographs have also featured in the prestigious Fish & Chip awards. 

But that’s not all. Because of the quality of our work, we were referred to two other seafood providers. Smales - the largest frozen at-sea fish supplier in the UK. And Larry’s Fish Cakes - a North Shields based business that provides quality fish cakes to stores, restaurants, and takeaways. 

Across multiple projects, we’ve produced imagery for both Smales’ company website and their UK-wide vehicle fleet. Whereas our work with Larry’s Fishcakes has led to our photos being featured on product packaging in supermarkets around the UK. All-in-all, this body of work has demonstrated our team's versatility and command of the food photography discipline.
