North Shields Heritologists

The Client 

The North Shields Heritology Project is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation based in the North-East of England. They deliver unique storytelling about the region's rich heritage to schools and the general public.

The Overview and Objectives

The charity are incredible orators and storytellers. Their staff and volunteers have a deep knowledge of the cultural heritage of the North-East of England. But they wanted to bring the region's history to life in a new and creative way through media and modern technology.

So they contacted Pixx Media. The North Shields Heritology Project tasked our team with providing captivating imagery of North Shields for their educational videos. Our aim was to produce cinematic video that maximised audience engagement. 

The Solution and The Outcomes

Using a combination of 360 and aerial imagery, we were able to capture stunning footage of the North Shields landscape. Our aerial footage displayed hubs of local heritage from an entirely new perspective. This added a completely new dimension to the charity's storytelling through media. Our work also engaged school children from the local community in a feature production.

Since completing this project, we have continued our partnership with The North Shields Heritology Project. We are currently working on a further project to be completed in 2023.
